Schieber, Director of US benefits at Watson Wyatt, “Congress has an opportunity to create an environment in which employers will be able to sponsor pensions and make sure employees have adequate retirement income. If it fails to take advantage of that opportunity, both employers and employees will suffer.” But odds are against such a move.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is very crucial to come up with a plan that has to be equally attractive for the employer as well as the employees and encourage them to save for their retirement age.
